DT4PH: Digital Twins for Personalised Healthcare
Growing the ecosystem and market for digital twins in personalised healthcare

DT4PH: AI and Digital Twins in Healthcare
Our goal? Personalised computer models for disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.

DT4PH is a Belgian research project funded by BOSA – Belgian Federal Department of Policy & Support
The programme includes five proof-of-concept projects, and also offers an educational curriculum, ecosystem expansion, and a translational pathway.
This project will contribute to a more sustainable, efficient, and patient-centred healthcare system, while also strengthening Belgium’s position as a leader in digital healthcare within the EU.
Our Plan
Proof of concept projects
5 proof-of-concept (PoC) projects ranging from research-intensive projects to regulatory science for a wide range of end users.
Educational programs
and materials tailored for students, professionals in R&D of medical products, and professionals in regulatory or marketing roles.

Intensive Care Unit
Intensive Care Unit medicine involves a wide range of sensors and devices to measure patient state and further devices to deliver care.
Osteoarthritis
Osteoarthritis is a common and debilitating disease that affects more than 15% of the population and increasing due to an aging population.
Pharmacogenetics
Pharmacogenetics is the study of how an individual’s genetic makeup affects the response to medications.
Brain-on-Chip NeuroCAAS
Neuronal circuits reconstructed in vitro from human induced pluripotent stem cells for biomedical purposes.
Triple-B
The goal of TripleB is to develop a superior, human-relevant in vitro organ-on-chip model of the Blood-Brain Barrier.
