The VHT-AI Thematic Network, selected as part of the 2026 EU Health Policy Platform (HPP), is bringing together patients, clinicians, researchers, policymakers, regulators, and industry representatives to accelerate the responsible adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Virtual Human Twins (VHTs) in European healthcare.
Building on the VHT Roadmap developed through the EDITH-CSA project, the initiative aims to develop actionable policy recommendations that help bridge the gap between technological innovation and real-world implementation. Through a series of webinars and collaborative writing sessions, stakeholders are working together to address key challenges related to regulation, reimbursement, trust, and adoption.
As a project advancing Digital Twin technologies for personalised healthcare, DT4PH welcomes initiatives that foster collaboration and alignment across the European ecosystem.
