On 11–12 September 2025, the DT4PH consortium took part in the Virtual Twin Driving Healthcare 2.0 Symposium in Leuven, an event bringing together experts from across the Virtual Human Twin and digital health ecosystem.

The symposium provided a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas with researchers, clinicians, industry representatives, and policymakers working to advance the adoption of Digital Twins in healthcare.

The consortium was represented by members of the VPH — including Liesbet Geris, Zita Van Horenbeeck, Janaki Raman Rangarajan, Davide Montesarchio and Martina Contin — alongside Gökhan Ertaylan from VITO.
During the event, the consortium showcased education and communication materials on Digital Twins, highlighting how these resources support awareness, skills development, and engagement across the ecosystem.

Participation in this symposium reinforced the importance of collaboration and knowledge sharing in turning Virtual Human Twin technologies into real-world healthcare impact.
Events like these play a key role in connecting stakeholders and strengthening the growing European VHT community.
